beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, doooth.

My addiction to my mobile phone is a source of much ribbing/joking in our household. Even from the start (I think it was the late 90s) I was always the geeky ‘smart’ phone girl. I was always pushing my phone to the limits, working out how to add push email, to use the mobile web (text internet was terrible) sending early sms, but mostly I spent much of the naughties fighting an addiction to mobile phone games.

I started off being a constant player of  ‘snake’ – remember that? One of my claims to fame was I could consistently beat anyone who challenged me to a game.  I still reckon I had one of highest scores ever for this game – which I would prove if I could ever find the phone in the depths of my house. My addiction has recently moved on to Solitaire, a game I play so often I can beat nearly every game of solitaire these days – plus I’m in the top 5% score wise of all solitaire players – which is rather worrying.

My phone is the centre of my life, I am not ashamed to admit this. Apart from the game addiction, I use it for email, facebook, twitter, google reader and a whole host of apps from keeping in touch with how many days its been since I gave up smoking last time (80) to when my next period is due (not telling you) to bustracker, to pinterest, etsy and skype. B laughs particularly when I put my phone down only to pick up my tablet instead.

(Seriously other people must do that apart from me?)

Now, because I want my phone to be able to do EVERYTHING (npt just make calls and play Snake) I’ve been a bit stuck on the same brand for a while. However,  I am now considering a change, especially my provider (I don’t get a signal in many places, especially at my mums!) and considering the master class O2 showed in the way the handled the down time recently, I have been much inspired by them. I have also been inspired by the prettyness of the new Samsung S3 and have been thinking of swapping over to O2 and Android for a while. Anyone got a Samsung S3, would you recommend it?

What was your favourite mobile phone game?
