Despite being on holiday for 10 days, this time has gone by so fast. So fast.

I spent the early part of the week mostly in bed, trying to deal with some nasty side effects of my new drug, so when I found I could get out of bed I spent my last weekend off eeking out every little bit of pleasure and sunshine that I could find.

Highlights included:

…Watching the Royal Wedding with tears in my eyes (wuss!) and a trip to Tyninghame where I had coffee in the sunshine and walked on the beach.

…Eating pulled pork at the Edinburgh farmer’s market and soaking up the sun in Princes Street Gardens before heading to a bbq at a friends.

…Managing to avoid Lauren from TOWIE (yikes!) and laughing at the cats trying to catch flies by standing on the fish tank.

…Celebrating my little sister having her second child. I am now a proud auntie to Lauren Zara. Because of the magic of the internet I saw her at 1 hour old in the hospital in Sydney…awww!
