Well, if you would like to see the Burrell in Pollok Park I would do it soon because it’s supposed to be closing for refurbishment at some point. It also has the advantage of beautiful walks in the park and Pollok House to visit too (NTS – excellent tea-room!) Kelvingrove is not to be missed, it must have something for everyone. GoMA is ok for modern art but nothing like as good as the national gallery. The Hunterian at Glasgow University has a museum and an art gallery on opposite sides of the road – the gallery includes a replica Mackintosh House. And if you like Mackintosh there’s also House for an Art Lover at Bellahouston and The Lighthouse in the city centre (both of those are on my blog if you search for them). Ok, I’ll stop there – you didn’t ask for an essay!
