Having been given my nickname Smidge as a child I guessed I would never reach 5 foot tall. Hailing from a tiny village in the country I moved to the bright lights of the big city aged 18 and never looked back. I am now celebrating my 17th year of city living so you can probably guess I am rather big fan of Edinburgh.
I now divide my time between being a mum to two bratty cats (Fatty and Finny), being married to B (cats come first, husband second – always) and drinking far too much tequila. I love cooking, road trips, long walks, anything French, and very expensive shoes. I am partially deaf (so check I can hear you) and i’ve spent a long time finding out who I am after being adopted at birth.

Also, I almost exclusively walk on the right side, I even walk my dog this way and also have hearing loss. So we can walk next to each other and yell things, as long as you don’t mind that I swear a lot. And loudly.
My best friend from home is also 4’11″. I have a pair of her old “jeans” and wear them as capris. Makes me happy every time I wear them.
